About Amy Gough Veterinary Physiotherapy
Meet Amy
Amy graduated in 2024 from Harper Adams University with a Postgraduate Diploma in Veterinary Physiotherapy and also holds a BSc Honours Degree in Bioveterinary Science from Hartpury University.
Amy's passion for animals has always been a driving force in her career. Growing up with working dogs and horses, she knew from a young age that she wanted to pursue a career in animal care. Amy has worked with horses on a variety of yards, gaining invaluable insight into the needs of both competition horses and those kept as pets. She also has a special interest in performance horses, having worked alongside other therapists in competition yards during her studies.
In addition to her physiotherapy work, Amy works part-time at a canine hydrotherapy centre, further expanding her expertise in canine rehabilitation.
As a veterinary physiotherapist, Amy's objective is to achieve the best possible outcome for your animal, whether a high-performance athlete or a beloved companion. She uses a combination of manual therapies, electrotherapies, and collaborative care with other professionals to help your animal recover and restore their health and wellbeing.
